She has taken time to understand our son's musical interests and passions, often adapting the lessons to incorporate and capture these whilst also managing to give him a strong foundation in reading notation, theory. "I've been having lessons off Grace since April after buying an electronic drum kit during lock down. Before my first lesson, my coordination was next to none existent and my drumming technique was best described as an enthusiastic animal from the Muppets. However I can now hold a steady rhythm and play recognisable beats.
Grace has a relaxed instruction technique and is willing to give examples of how it should be played so that you can hear it in your mind and has a range of different methods to draw out of you the right beats I am very pleased with my progress and look forward to the weekly sessions where I am pushed towards more complex playing patterns."
