About Our
Drum Teaching Studio

We know drums are FUN, that's why every student who learns with us gets to play on a real kit, right from the first lesson.

In fact, we believe our students should have access to the highest quality equipment as part of their learning experience with us, so we're excited to say that the The Groove Hub studio in Manchester has two full sized, professional level drum kits in use at all times.

We also have a comfortable waiting room for parents and free parking is available.

Take a look at our studio and waiting room below!

WHAT OUR STUDENTS & their parents say:

“The lessons are so well constructed that you know she has been preparing them in advance and so she is spending much more time on you than just the hour you are with her. Drumming is a great hobby and with Grace's tuition I see improvement every week and that in itself is so satisfying. I recommend The Groove Hub for anyone interested in drumming from complete beginner to people aspiring to be professional.

What equipment
do we have?

Our two studio kits are a Natal Originals Maple Kit & a Natal Arcadia Bop Kit. Both kits have a full set of Zildjian professional-level cymbals to complete the set up.

Playing to music is an essential part of our lessons and we use a headphone audio system in the studio. We run our audio through two pairs of Vic Firth Studio Isolation Headphones, so students can enjoy high quality audio whilst protecting their hearing. Students are also welcome to bring their own headphones for playing along to music, if they would prefer.

As well as our drums, we have a full studio recording set up and 2 GoPro cameras for video recording. Giving our students the ability to make high-quality recordings of their drum performances allows them to be proud of their progress and gives them the ability to capture the memory of learning to play! Some of our students are interested in learning about studio recording techniques and how to be a session musician, so we are fully equipped to deliver lessons around these topics right from our studio!

You can see some more photos of our studio and equipment below.
