What are the benefits of
drum lessons for children?

Here at The Groove Hub we see the confidence of our young students grow with every lesson as their playing progresses.

As well as being fun to play, there are plenty of reasons why drum lessons are beneficial for children, here are a few of our favourites:

  1. Drums are the most fun instrument to play (ok, we might be biased on this one!)

  2. Drum lessons build confidence in children

  3. Playing drums is a way for children to make new friends, through school bands or local music groups

  4. Drumming can be a fun hobby your child can enjoy for life!

  5. Drumming encourages your child to be creative

  6. Playing a musical instrument has been shown to boost academic skills in children
